Dear people,

I began my genetic journey at the beginning of this year. I've traced the Y DNA of three of my great great grandparents and of two mtdna lines of my great great grandmothers. All the lines except one were found in Europe.

The line of my direct mtdna, of my mother, grandmoter, and so on. First I've received the results that told me we belong to the haplogroup D. I want to know more about this, and to which specific group I belonged. The journey was complicated, I've compared my markers with all the databases available, and I found not 1 single match with my results.

None o the people with amerindian ancestry match my mtdna with more than 3 mutations. I begin then searching for closer investigation in my country Ecuador, when I've received information about the study with the Chachis in northwest country in the jungle of Esmeraldas.

This group belonging to the chibcha-paez branch fled from the inkas and after that from the spanish conquerors. Then finally with the support o the mtdna analysis I received the information that placed me with the D4h3 haplogroup.

In the Genoprahic Project or Family Tree DNA or many other bases, I wasn't able to find a single person with a match for my haplogroup. I would like to share more information and also to find a scientist who can support me to investigate more about this rare finding,

Yours Truly
