Siblings reunite using 23andMe

Justin was only two when he was abandoned on the steps of a theater in Seoul, South Korea, while his five year-old sister, Renee, was found the next day at a market with a note in her pocket.

“This girl is an orphan,” the note read.

The siblings wouldn’t see each other again for 34 years, reuniting half a world away using 23andMe.

“We matched,” Justin told at the Oregonian. “Out of one in a million. Maybe even more.”

Justin was too young to even know he had a sister, while Renee never forgot that she had a younger brother, she just never thought they would see each other again.

Take a moment to see the siblings reunite. Make sure you have a tissue handy.
