Dr. Kayla Capper is a scientist at the 23andMe Research Institute, where she develops scientifically accurate and engaging health reports and features. She is particularly passionate about simplifying complex genetic topics to help customers better understand and act upon their results. Dr. Capper holds a B.S. in Genetics from the University of Kansas and a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from the University of Michigan, where she also completed training in Science Communication.
